A number of draft eligible OHL players excelled in physical testing at the 2023 NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo, New York this past weekend.
The OHL produced a few notable first place finishes from forwards Easton Cowan of the London Knights and Nick Lardis of the Brantford Bulldogs, while other names like blueliners Cam Allen of the Guelph Storm, Hunter Brzustewicz of the Kitchener Rangers and Beau Akey of the Barrie Colts joined forwards Brad Gardiner of the Ottawa 67’s, Colby Barlow of the Owen Sound Attack and Carey Terrance of the Erie Otters in making appearances high on the results of a few different exercises.
A total of 20 OHL players attended the annual event that included a total of 107 players participating. The NHL Combine gave the 32 NHL teams physical and medical assessments of the top prospects ahead of the 2023 draft at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on June 28-29.
