Bring on the Florida Panthers, baby!

For the first time in 19 years, the Toronto Maple Leafs will take part in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Personally, the cherry on top to a tremendous weekend for Leafs Nation was watching the Boston Bruins choke away a 3-1 series lead and crumble in Game 7 on Sunday night.

As expected, the Monday edition of Leafs Morning Take was a joyous one. That said, it’s important to not lose sight of the ultimate prize here. It may have been a party-filled weekend in Toronto, but it’s time to get back to business for the Maple Leafs.

Meantime, we recapped the first round and debated who Toronto’s series M.V.P. was.

Additionally, powered by our friends over at Skip, we previewed the Round 2 matchup with the surprising Florida Panthers. I know I wanted Boston, but so be it. Paul Maurice has this Panthers squad playing well, so the Leafs better be ready starting on Tuesday night.

Lastly, for the Betano Wrap Up, we dissected tonight’s Game 7 between the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers.

Join me on Tuesday at 11 AM ET as I look ahead to Game 1 against Florida. Additionally, Jay Rosehill will drop by for another instalment of 3 Hits With Rosey. Also, Adam ‘Edge’ Copeland will join me.
