HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Soaring Eagles would come out of the gates aggressive in the first period against the Beacons as Kerfalla Toure ’26 netted the first goal of the contest at the 5:09 mark to make it 1-0 in favor of the Purple & Gold. Gorman responded just 25 seconds later for Elmira with a goal in his third straight contest to put the Soaring Eagles up 3-0 over the Beacons.
