Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies even closer.
This mantra (made famous by the 1990s Spider-Man cartoon) partially rings true for hockey. Scouting the opponent before a game is part and parcel for the NHL.

The roster appears to be the same as the one they dressed for their last game against the Montreal Canadiens. They defeated the Canadiens by a 6-3 final score. Jeremy Swayman will be in the net again for the Bruins.
Charlie Coyle and Charlie McAvoy scored two goals a piece to help propel the Bruins to a victory. Swayman stopped 25 of 28 shots to earn the win.
The Bruins played a defensive-minded and physical game, collecting 20 blocked shots and throwing 26 hits.
Tonight’s matchup will be the second of three meetings this season. The two teams played recently, with the Bruins coming out on top in a 2-1 win. Justin Brazeau and Brad Marchand scored for the Bruins, with Lucas Raymond registering the lone tally for the Red Wings.
