After recording a career-high 31 points in 73 games this season, Denis Gurianov has signed a one-year extension with the Dallas Stars worth $2.9 million.
Drafted 12th overall in 2015, Gurianov is a good secondary scoring option for the Stars. Just 25, Gurianov hasn’t managed to take his offensive game to another level but is a good dual-threat as a shooter and a passer.
Gurianov was a healthy scratch at points late in the season and played in just five of the seven games in a first-round series loss to Calgary.
In 214 career regular season games, Gurianov has 94 points and an additional 17 in the post-season.
