After a few days off, The Numbers Game is back to paint some sort of numerical picture on the semi finals of the Elite Series as we start to look ahead to second legs.

Starting with Nottingham Panthers and Coventry Blaze, the countdown begins as one of these teams will end their involvement tonight, but who will it be?

We’ve no idea and the numbers won’t help with that either, but here are some interesting titbits of information ahead of the game.

Number of days since Coventry Blaze experienced a shutout – a 5-0 loss to Belfast Giants in the play-off quarter final on 6th April 2019.  Five Blaze players who played in that game played in the first leg against Panthers on Tuesday – Nicolai Bryhnisveen, Ross Venus, David Clements, Alex Forbes and Luke Ferrara
