CALGARY, Alberta – With puck drop at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship just days away, fans in Canada can join the excitement and make a lasting impact in their communities by purchasing tickets for Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 program.
Draws will take place throughout the World Juniors, including three jackpots and additional early-bird prizes. They are open to fans in Alberta, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario.
The first Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 draw will close on Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. ET/8 a.m. MT. The program’s second draw will run from Dec. 27 to Jan. 1, 2024, and the third from Jan. 1-6.
Fans of the age of majority in participating provinces can get their tickets now at HockeyCanada5050.ca.
Proceeds from Canada’s Ultimate 50/50 will go towards initiatives in the province of purchase that work towards providing safe and welcoming environments for all participants on and off the ice:
- Alberta: Proceeds will be invested directly into grassroots initiatives and increase the capacity of Hockey Alberta members to deliver a positive experience for participants at the local level.
- New Brunswick: Proceeds will be used for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion programs, as well as improvements in education and development.
- Nova Scotia: Proceeds will fund Grow the Game programs for associations and groups that target underrepresented populations, including women and girls, neuro-diverse athletes and para hockey athletes.
- Ontario: Proceeds will benefit a number of key initiatives, including support to families demonstrating financial need for hockey registration, and funding for equipment for players and families.

Canada’s National Junior Team begins the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship on Dec. 26, and all games will be broadcast on TSN and RDS, the official broadcast partners of Hockey Canada.
