As the 2024-25 NHL season approaches, one thing fans can look forward to is a new EA Sports NHL video game, most likely titled NHL 25. While full details of the game haven’t been released, more information should be coming out in the next few weeks, which includes which player or players will be on the cover. With this in mind, here is a look at the top Vancouver Canucks HUT cards from NHL 24.

Of the five Canucks who received 99 overall cards, only two of them are active players. J.T. Miller was the first to hit 99 overall, thanks to the “Fantasy Hockey” event, while Quinn Hughes followed shortly after and has three separate cards with 99 overall ratings. As for the 98 club, that features Thatcher Demko and Elias Pettersson, who have multiple cards in that category.
Vancouver also has five players with 97 cards, four of which came from the “Transactions” event. The four players are Filip Hronek, Artūrs Šilovs, Tyler Myers, and Dakota Joshua. The last of the five to receive a 97 card is Brock Boeser, who recently had his card added as part of the “Pre-Season” event.

Moving onto the alumni list, this is where the remaining three 99 overall players can be found. Unsurprisingly, both Daniel and Henrik Sedin have maxed out cards, which can be levelled up through the “Power Up Icons” challenge. Trevor Linden also received a 99 overall card, which was released during the “HUT Heroes Series 2.0” event. There was only one 98 card this year, and that belongs to Todd Bertuzzi as part of the “Diamond Collectables Power Up” series.
Lastly, three players received 97 overall cards this HUT season. Two of them belong to the Sedins, who received 97 overall cards as part of the “NHL Awards” event, while Mason Raymond received his special HUT card as part of the “Community Request” event. Four players also received 96 overall cards, with the list being Kirk McLean, Roberto Luongo, Bertuzzi and Mikael Samuelsson.
