Toronto & Vegas tangle for the second time in two weeks: Leafs Morning Take

by

Another night, another tough opponent for the Maple Leafs.

Does anyone remember that ugly loss in Vegas two weeks ago? I know I do.

Well, the Leafs have a chance for some payback tonight when they host the red-hot Golden Knights (11-2-0).

After missing the past two shows, Rosie returned for the Tuesday edition of Leafs Morning Take. Of course, a lot of the half hour was spent previewing tonight’s game. It’s the battle of the winning streaks, something has to give —dun, dun, dun. On one side, you have Toronto, who’s 3-0-0 to start November after a pedestrian 4-4-2 showing in October. Meantime, the line shuffling continues for the Maple Leafs. We discussed the new-look top-six from today’s morning skate:

After that, we got into the conversation about team identity. This team looked lost in October; it’s been a much different story in November so far.

As per usual, we wrapped with the PointsBet Canada bet of the day. Admittedly, I haven’t been seeing the board lately like I was in the first three weeks of the season, but I do think we’ll see some offence tonight.

Win or lose, make sure to join us at 11 AM ET on Wednesday for a full recap of Leafs/Golden Knights.
