Oshawa, Ont. – The Oshawa Generals organization is extremely excited to announce the commitment of Tristan Delisle to the organization. Delisle was selected in the third round, 51st overall in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection on Friday, April 21st.

The third-round selection was originally owned by the Kitchener Rangers but was acquired via a trade with the Sudbury Wolves on April 18th.

Delisle’s commitment means each of the Generals’ first three selections at the 2023 OHL Priority Selection have committed to the organization.

The St. Andrew’s West native spent the 2022-2023 season with the Mississauga Rebels, appearing in 36 games. The 5.10 tall, 159-pound centre scored 27 goals and 14 assists and added another goal at the 2023 OHL cup.

Delisle is described as a driving force offensively. He is a threat with the puck on his stick and he makes everyone around him better with his vision and hockey IQ.

“I am beyond excited to be joining such an outstanding organization like the Oshawa Generals,” said Delisle. “I am so grateful to the team for giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait to be back in Oshawa for training camp in August.”

Delisle will wear number 40.
