As the regular season nears its end, a handful of teams have been able to separate from the rest. WCHA foes Ohio State and Wisconsin sit on top of Jordan Menard’s final Power 5 of the regular season as the teams prepare to battle on the ice this weekend.

1. Ohio State (Previous: 1)
The Buckeyes stay on top of the Power 5 rankings after outscoring St. Thomas 16-2 in a series sweep that clinched the WCHA regular season crown. But, there’s no time for celebration in Columbus, as Nadine Muzerall will take her top-ranked Buckeyes to LaBahn Arena to take on No. 2 Wisconsin in the last weekend of the regular season.
2. Wisconsin (Previous: 2)
Wisconsin’s impressive sweep over top-five Minnesota was highlighted by Laila Edwards’ OT game-winner on Friday night that falls squarely in the goal of the year conversation. But lost in the shuffle of the highlight was the Badgers’ big 4-0 shutout in game two of the series to secure a season series win over the arch-rival Gophers.

3. Clarkson (Previous: 4)
Clarkson proved dominant in its final two games of the regular season, outscoring conference foes Dartmouth and Harvard 12-0 this past weekend. The Golden Knights allowed just 26 shots across the two games, and all were swallowed up by Clarkson’s goalie tandem.
4. Cornell (Previous: 5)
The Big Red locked up their 16th Ivy League title this weekend with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Yale. Freshman goalie Annelies Bergmann was outstanding in Saturday’s contest, holding the Bulldogs to just one goal on 36 shots.

5. Colgate (Previous: Unranked)
The ECAC champions secured a dominant 6-0 win against Brown this past weekend to secure their spot in this week’s Power 5. Elyssa Biederman tallied two goals in Saturday’s conference-clinching win.
