Wild Goaltender Troy Grosenick Out For the Year

ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Wild signed veteran goaltender Troy Grosenick to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $550,000 at the AHL level on July 1st.

He entered training camp injured and suffered a knee injury before training camp had even started.

On Tuesday, Grosenick had a successful surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee at TRIA Orthopaedic Center and will not play this season. He is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season.

The Iowa Wild recently announced the signing of Dylan Ferguson to a one-year contract to replace Grosenick.
