Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki was drafted as the 13th overall pick by the Vegas Golden Knights at the 2017 Draft.
After four seasons in the OHL (2015-2019) and a 2018 trade to Montreal, he would make his NHL debut on Oct. 3, 2019, against the Carolina Hurricanes.

In six seasons, including the past two as captain, Suzuki has yet to miss a game and has run his consecutive games streak to 378, including the Oct. 17, 2024 contest against the Los Angeles Kings. That’s quite a feat considering how hard the injury bug has hit the Canadiens over the last few years.
According to records at NHL.com, Suzuki now maintains the league’s third-longest consecutive games streak behind two of the oldest players, Brent Burns (845) and Ryan Suter (458).
Meanwhile, the Canadiens forward is slightly ahead of several other players, including Alexander Kerfoot (350), Jamie Benn (302), Alex DeBrincat (296), Mikael Backlund (268), Dawson Mercer (253), Charlie Coyle (251), and Moritz Seider (250).
In 378 games, Suzuki has amassed 108 goals and 182 assists for 290 points.
