The 22-year-old got into a spirited fight with Dylan McIlrath in the Rangers game against the Capitals on Oct. 29, though he only recorded 5:01 of ice time.
Rempe went -3 in his two games with the Wolf Pack last week but will head back with the chance to earn more ice time than he would get in the NHL and work on his game.
He is pointless in three games with the Rangers and in two games with Hartford this season.
With Jimmy Vesey set to return from injury Rempe gets pushed further down the Rangers depth chart.
Rempe will not play tonight against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, his next chance to play comes Wednesday against the Syracuse Crunch.
