Tokarski, 35, signed a PTO with the Ottawa Senators before the start of training camp, but it did not result in the veteran landing a deal for the season. Now, he will hope for better luck on this new PTO with the Wolves.
Tokarski spent the entirety of this past season with the Sabres’ AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans. In 24 games with the AHL squad, he had an 11-9-3 record, a .890 save percentage (SV%), and a 3.32 goals-against average (GAA).
Tokarski also spent the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons with the Sabres. In 42 appearances with the NHL squad, he had a 12-20-7 record, a .901 SV%, and a 3.35 GAA.
