It appears that there is a real chance that the Sabres could get a nice boost for their upcoming matchup against the Senators.
While speaking to reporters, including The Buffalo News’ Lance Lysowski, Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff shared that it’s a “possibility” that Zach Benson will be in the lineup against the Senators.
Benson, 19, has not played since the Sabres’ Oct. 19 matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks. In six games this season, the 5-foot-10 forward has zero points and a minus-4 rating.
Benson had 11 goals, 19 assists, and a minus-3 rating in 71 games as a rookie this past season.
