Thursday has a packed slate of NHL action with ten matchups that should provide us with plenty of opportunities to hit it big. We are coming off a rough night Wednesday but we did hit on the Leafs and Golden Knights Under which we hope to build off Thursday.

Bet: Avalanche -1.5 (+175)
The Capitals are rolling right now with four wins in their last five games with 16 goals over their three straight wins heading into Thursday. They will also be at home, where they are 7-2-0 on the season and have beat Colorado in six of their last nine matchups in Washington.
Every sign points to the Caps in this one which makes it strange that the sportsbooks have the Aves as the favourite in this spot. The public agrees with this sediment as 95 per cent of the bets on the puck line and 59 per cent of moneyline bets being placed on the Capitals.
The Avalanche are also a team that depends heavily on their home wins with a 23-19-6 road record since the start of last season, that ranks 17th-best in the NHL. Believe in the sportbooks and take what they are giving you with the Avalanche heating up lately as they’ve won four of their last five games.
Bet: Bruins ML (-140), Utah HC Bruins Over 6.5 goals (+120), Pavel Zacha Over 0.5 points (-110)
Boston surprisingly fired bench boss Jim Montgomery, who was widely considered one of the best in the business, after the Bruins started the season with a 8-9-3 record and currently ride a three-game losing streak.
The Bruins offence has struggled severely to start the season with a 2.40 goals per game average that is bottom three in the league and rep the league’s worst power play at 11.7 per cent. They’ve also struggled to keep pucks out of their net with a 3.45 goals against average and 15 goals allowed over their losing streak.
They are long overdue for a bump and should get it with the new interim head coach, Joe Sacco. The Utah Hockey Club have found little success on the road this season with just three wins in ten games away from their home barn.
Since last season, the former Arizona Coyotes are 17-26-7 on the road and should get taken to the cleaners by a hungry Bruins team. I expect a big night from Bruins star David Pastrnak, who has one point over their losing streak and will look to bounce back in a big way.
We can siphon off his production with his centre Pavel Zacha, who we used regularly in this role last season and is listed at very favorable odds. He is also overdue for a big night as the 27-year-old Czech centre has no points during their three-game losing skid.
