Boston Bruins Recall Patrick Brown From AHL

by admin

The Boston Bruins have recalled forward Patrick Brown from the Providence Bruins, it was announced Thursday.

Brown, who made his season debut with the Bruins Thursday against the Dallas Stars, went pointless but has collected seven points in 12 games with Providence.

Across parts of 10 NHL seasons, Brown has played in 150 career regular season games for the Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Vegas Golden Knights, Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators. In that span, he has put up 25 points.

Serving as the captain in Providence this year, Brown has played an important role for the team so far and was rewarded with a recall. While it is yet to be seen how long his stay with the Bruins will be, Brown has been a reliable NHL depth player in the past and there is no reason why he can’t be the same for Boston.
