London, ON – The London Knights are excited to announce that the team has signed their fifth-round draft pick from the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, Ethan MacKinnon. MacKinnon was drafted 102nd overall.

“We are very happy to be able to sign Ethan for the 2021-2022 season. Ethan showed very well in his 16-year-old season with the St. Thomas Stars. His ability to skate, defend and bring offense from the backend will be a big asset to our lineup.”  – Mark Hunter, Co-Owner and General Manager of the London Knights.

MacKinnon played the 2019-2020 season for the St. Thomas Stars of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. The London native collected four goals and 13 assists for a total of 17 points over 45 games. He was selected to participate in the 2019-2020 GOJHL Future Stars game.

MacKinnon will wear number 17 for the Knights.
