Barkey, 19, is currently in his fourth season with the Knights. The Flyers’ 2023 third-round pick is coming off a spectacular campaign with the Knights, recording career highs with 35 goals, 67 assists, and 102 points in 64 games. He also had six goals and 27 points in 18 post-season games for the Knights during their OHL championship run.
Barkey will now look to take another big step forward in his development after securing this new huge role with the Knights. The 5-foot-9 forward is one of the Flyers’ most promising prospects, so it will be a blast to see how he performs in 2024-25 from here.
