ST. PAUL – The NHL recently dropped some Edge Stats for every team from the 2023-24 season. Wild forward Mats Zuccarello ranked first in the NHL in one stat.

Zuccarello, 36, ranked tied for first in the NHL last year with Carolina Hurricanes Forward Andrei Svechnikov in offensive zone time percentage on the power play (68.1) during 2023-24.
The 5-foot-8 forward was 16th in the NHL last year in power play points with 33 and is 20th in the NHL the last three seasons in power play points with 90.
He signed a five-year deal with the Wild in 2019 and recently signed a two-year extension before the 2023-24 season started. Zuccarello had 12 goals, 51 assists, and 63 points last year in 69 games.

In his Wild career, Zuccarello has recorded 84 goals, 197 assists, and 281 points in 324 games across five seasons. He has 27 goals, 76 assists, and 103 points on the power play in his Wild career as well.
