GORHAM, ME. – A first-period power-play goal from Morgan Mordini ’22 would prove to be enough for the Elmira College women’s ice hockey program as the Soaring Eagles opened their conference slate with a 3-0 victory against Southern Maine on Friday night at the USM Ice Arena.

Mordini and Claire Meeder ’23 each tallied three points on the night as Meeder netted a pair of goals for the Purple & Gold.
