Men’s Ice Hockey Leads NEHC with 20 All-Academic Selections

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) announced the All-Academic team recipients in the men’s division for the 2021-22 season. To be eligible for All-Academic recognition a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed one full year at their current institution by the beginning of the hockey season. Student-athletes that were freshmen or first-years transfer during the 2021-22 season were not eligible.

All ten NEHC institutions were represented with 158 student-athletes in total earning the honor. Elmira College led the way with 20 honorees with New England College and University of Massachusetts Boston following closely behind, boasting 17 honorees each.

From Elmira, Graham Denomme ’23, Daniel Dimon ’24, Nicholas Domitrovic ’24, Adam Eby ’21, Ben Flesichman ’21, Jordan Gonzalez ’24, Chance Gorman ’24, Nick Grinvalds ’22, Mitch Haight ’24, Shane Haviland ’24, Chris Janzen ’21, Marty Kapoian ’22, Shawn Kennedy ’24, Bailey Krawczyk ’24, Amedeo Mastrangeli ’24, Jake Russo ’23, Jared Smith ’24, Matthew Stewart ’22, Janis Vizbelis ’24, and Jeffrey Zero ’23 earned the honor.
