- Exceptional Status rookie Michael Misa scored his first career OHL overtime winner.
- With the win in extra time, the Spirit moved to 5-1 in games decided in overtime this season.
- Recording the primary assist on the overtime winner Pavel Mintyukov became the third player and first defencemen to reach 30 points this season.
- The 36 saves set a new season-high for Spirit goaltender Tristan Lennox, his most saves in a victory since he made 38 against the London Knights on October 12th, 2019.
- The win tied the I-75 Divide Cup series between the Spirit and Firebirds 1-1.
