MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) announced its weekly award winners on Monday afternoon, with Nicholas Domitrovic ’24 earning Player of the Week honors after a three-game stretch which saw the Soaring Eagles pick up a trio of victories over ranked opponents.
In three games against nationally-ranked opponents this week, Domitrovic helped the Soaring Eagles to a 3-0 record, including a victory over #3 ranked Utica. Against #5 Geneseo, Domitrovic provided a hat trick to go along with an assist as Elmira defeated the Knights 6-2.
Domitrovic followed up his performance with a one goal, one assist outing against #8 ranked Oswego in the semifinals of the Utica University Thanksgiving Showcase, as Elmira cruised to a 7-1 victory.
On Saturday, Domitrovic provided a pair of assists as Elmira downed Utica 5-2 in the Championship game.
In ten games this season, Domitrovic has provided 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists). The senior’s previous season-best in points is 24, which he did so during the 2021-22 season where he played in 24 games.
