As we continue looking back on the Florida Panthers incredible Stanley Cup-winning season, this time around we’re heading to one of the league’s biggest annual spectacles outside of the playoffs.
That’s right, we’re talking about the NHL All-Star Game.
This year’s ASG took place in the mecca of hockey: Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

It was there that not one, but two Panthers players were selected to play in the NHL’s showcase of superstars.
They were goal-scoring specialist Sam Reinhart and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.
Reinhart’s selection was the first of his career while for Bobrovsky, he was playing in an All-Star game for just the second time in his 14 seasons in the NHL.
There wasn’t much surprise when Reinhart received word in early January that he would be an All-Star.
At the time, the 28-year-old was third in the league with 24 goals and tenth in points with 45 through 37 games.
He finished the season with an eye-popping 57 goals and 94 points.
Bobrovsky’s selection was a result of the fan vote, something the veteran goaltender took to heart.
“It’s a privilege. I definitely appreciate the votes,” Bobrovsky said at the time. “It’s a big deal for me, so I’m happy to be there.”
Below you’ll find videos of Reinhart and Bobrovsky during All-Star Weekend in Toronto:
