The Queen’s University Gaels men’s hockey program has announced that Windsor Spitfires blueliner Michael Renwick has committed for the 2023-24 season.
A native of Mississauga, Ont., Renwick will pursue his education in Kingston, suiting up for a Queen’s program led by former OHL forward Brett Gibson behind the bench.
“I chose Queen’s to further my education at a top school in the country while developing under Coach Gibson who has a great understanding of the game”, said Renwick.
Renwick, 21, recorded career-highs with 13 goals, 22 assists and 35 points over 65 games this past season. The 6-foot, 185Ibs. defenceman played four seasons in the OHL, splitting his career between Windsor and Hamilton after being selected in the second round (24th overall) by the Bulldogs in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection.
