The 18-8-0 Winnipeg Jets have hit the road once again for Buffalo, where they will take on the 11-12-2 Sabres from New York on Thursday in the first stop of a brief two-game road trip.

Coming off a lopsided 4-1 home loss to St. Louis on Tuesday, the Jets are now in the midst of a season-high, three-game losing streak and have fallen out of first place.
Down Dylan Samberg and Nikolaj Ehlers due to injury, Winnipeg is now back on the road for two games, where the Sabres will be the first challenge.
According to those on scene in Buffalo, the Jets will go with the same assembly of players used on Tuesday, with some slight alterations to the forward groupings and defence pairs.
Connor Hellebuyck will get the start in goal for Winnipeg, while Mark Scheifele shifts back to centre, and Josh Morrissey and Neal Pionk skate together on the top pair.
