Kingston, Ont. – Now that the dust has settled from the OHL trade deadline, the Kingston Frontenacs have announced their leadership group for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.

Paul Ludwinski has been named the new captain for the Frontenacs; with Alec Bélanger, Ben Roger, Maddox Callens, Quinton Burns and Tommy Budnick serving as alternate captains.

Burns and Budnick will rotate as alternates, with Burns wearing the A on home ice, and Budnick wearing the A for road games.

“It’s such an honour to be named the captain of the Kingston Frontenacs. When I look to my left and to my right and see the guys who were named as alternate captains, I see some incredible leaders. It’s an honour to be representing this organization alongside them”, said Ludwinski. “There’s nobody else I’d rather be standing beside as a part of this leadership group. Having said that, if you don’t have a letter on your jersey we’re counting on everyone on this team to come in on a day to day basis and be a leader.”

You can catch the new leadership group on home ice for the first time this Friday night as the Kingston Frontenacs will take on the Sarnia Sting on Bell Let’s Talk night. Tickets for Friday night can be purchased at Leon’s Centre box office or on ticketmaster.ca
