ST. PAUL – Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov skated in his 300th career NHL game on Friday against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Kaprizov, 27, picked up an assist on Marco Rossi’s goal in the second period. He now has 366 career points in 300 career games.
With his assist on the Rossi goal, Kaprizov is now up to 23 points (10-13=23) in his last 15 games which is tied for second-most in the NHL dating back to Oct. 26.
The only active players with more points through 300 games include Sidney Crosby (407), Connor McDavid (394), Alex Ovechkin (384) and Evgeni Malkin (371).
In 300 games, Kaprizov has 174 goals, 192 assists, and 366 career points. There are only two active players in NHL history to have scored more goals than Kaprizov in their first 300 games.
Ovechkin with 204 and Auston Matthews with 176 goals through 300 games. Kaprizov has joined some elite company this year and has helped the Wild get off to a 15-4-4 record.
